I love to be able to combine city strolling with kids playing and for this Copenhagen is actually great. In this post I want to share a Copenhagen spot with you where you can actually combine cafés, shopping and playgrounds.
When you visit Copenhagen as a family you probably need to realize where the good playgrounds are to be found? Like my last post on playgrounds (here), I want to make another one.
This playground is placed at Hauser Plads (near Nørreport and Kultorvet in central Copenhagen). It is pretty large and newly renovated. The playground is held in natural colors to match the surroundings and it has been given a soft surface to soften a childs fall and the ground is like hills which make it fun for the kids to run. In every way we like this playground and it stimulates the childs fantasy because of the basic tools.
If the girls are happy, mummy is happy – but, I do admit that I am far more pleasant as a person, if I have a good cup of coffee in my hand. Because this playground is situated in the central of Copenhagen, you can choose to split up and do some shopping while the other stays with the kiddos at the playground. There´s even a good coffeeshop just out side the fence, so nothing can go wrong.
Both girls are 3 years at the time. See google map here.
Dansk resume: Legepladsen ved Hauser Plads i midten af København er et hit. Dels kan du nemt kombinere shopping, kaffe og leg, dels er legepladsen i tip top stand og stimulerer børnenes nysgerrighed og fantasti.
