A beautiful baby swaddle or baby blanket, dear child, has many names. The Leafy Baby Blanket is a knitted baby blanket with a beautiful leaf pattern and a pearl knit edge.
The knitting pattern is fun to knit and not as complicated as you might think. It's the same pattern repeat that repeats and you quickly learn it by heart.
The blanket is large enough to swaddle baby, and it can also be spread out on the floor when baby needs to play a little without getting cold.
If you want a more rectangular rug, the recipe provides instructions on how to achieve this.
The recipe is supported with links to relevant videos and thorough written explanations.
Techniques in the pattern include knit and purl stitches, as well as regular cast-ons and increases to the right and left.
The blanket shown is knitted in Merida in the color 25 Copper.
