Half Season Mittens are a pair of half gloves that fit comfortably on the hand with a ribbed edge at the top that can be folded down when you need a little more freedom for your fingers.
Half Season Mittens are knitted from the bottom up on double pointed needles or circular needles with magic loop. You start with a rib edge, then knit the hand in stocking stitch and finish with a double rib. The gloves do not require much knowledge of knitting techniques, so they are relatively beginner-friendly, not least with the use of video links in the pattern.
The recipe is supported with links to relevant videos and thorough written explanations.
Techniques in the pattern include knit and purl stitches, as well as regular cast-ons and increases to the right and left.
