A nice little bag that can be used as a clutch, makeup bag or to store small items, such as knitting supplies.
Vispa Clutch is knitted with a seed stitch base, which the rest of the bag is built around. It has a honeycomb pattern on the front and back and a flat top where the zipper can be sewn in.
Vispa Clutch is a great project for those of you who want to try your hand at patterning.
Techniques in the pattern include seed stitch, pattern stitch, which is similar to cable patterns, and generally reading a pattern repeat. The pattern itself is simple, so once you have decoded the 2 steps, you will find that it is the same thing to do in alternating stitches all the way through.

Vispa actually means wasp in Bornholm, and I have adopted the word as the name for the nice little bag with beehive patterns. I have roots on Bornholm and have always loved the little quirky words and expressions from Bornholm, and even though I know that the wasp doesn't have a beehive, I still hope you like the name.
