An airy sweater with a lace pattern throughout, broken with stockinette stripes that help the sweater retain its shape. The sweater is both classic and fun and can be toned down with muted colors as well as spiced up with more fun colors.

The sweater is worked from the top, starting with ribbing to the neck and then with a wide raglan that gives a robust look to the otherwise airy and "lumpy" sweater. The lace pattern is repeated with a 1 stitch offset, forming a staggered and slanted line in the placement of the holes.

Both a summer yarn and a winter yarn are provided as suggestions, so the sweater can be knitted up for all seasons.

Knitting tension

Gauge is measured before cast-on and block

Guiding sticks

4.0 mm and 5.5 mm circular needles (80 cm long for body and magic loop/socking needles for sleeves)
