A nice little bag that can be used as a clutch, makeup bag or to store small items such as knitting equipment.
The Vispa Clutch is knitted with a beaded base around which the rest of the bag is built. It has its beehive pattern on the front and back and a flat top where the zipper can be sewn in.

Vispa Clutch is a great project for those who want to try their hand at patterning.
Techniques in the pattern include pearl knitting, pattern knitting, which is similar to cable patterns and generally reading a pattern repeat. The pattern itself is simple, so once you've decoded the 2 steps, you'll realize that it's the same thing to do in alternation all the way through.

Vispa actually means wasp in Bornholm, and I've adopted the word as the name for this lovely little bag with beehive patterns. I have roots on Bornholm and have always loved the quirky little words and expressions from Bornholm, and even though I know the wasp doesn't have a beehive, I hope you like the name.
