Sakura Hat is a cute and feminine hat with a lace pattern that is both fun to knit and pretty to wear.

The hat is designed to fit snugly on the head without extra length, but it is possible to lengthen it if desired.

The hat is worked from the bottom up with a ribbed edge, then the Sakura pattern is worked and the hat is joined at the top at the end. The hems are worked in stockinette stitch for a lovely spiral pattern.

you can knit with two strands of regular sock yarn

Knitting tension

approx. 16 sts = 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4.0 mm needles
approx. 18 sts = 10 cm in Sakura pattern on 4.0 mm needles

Knitting tension is measured after washing and blocking

Pinner

Round stick 3.5 and 4.0 mm

Knit with a 40 cm circular needle, or magic loop with a longer needle
